
Homemade No Yeast Pizza Dough
On National Pizza Day (2/9) don't spend hours making pizza dough! Instead, make our fast (15-minutes) yeast-free dough recipe.
Equipment
- 1 Propane pizza oven or propane oven
Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 cup Warm water
- 1 handful Cornmeal optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a large bowl, stir together the dry ingredients.
- dd the olive oil to the water, then pour them both into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until a loose ball of dough forms and no more dry flour remains on the bottom of the bowl.
- If your dough is too dry, slowly add a little more water. If your dough is too wet, slowly add a little more water. Do this until you get the desired consistency.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead 10 times. Shape dough into a ball; cover with an inverted bowl and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Roll dough into a 12-inch circle baking sheet. dusted with cornmeal.
- Bake crust in preheated oven for 8 minutes; top with your favorite sauce, cheese, and toppings and bake until crust is golden brown, about 10 minutes more. Slice and serve immediately.
