Suburban Propane is proud to partner with the American Red Cross in helping to raise awareness of the ongoing need for blood and platelets – especially during the crucial summer months leading into September. We have continued this partnership and the great work that these blood drives have done for the local communities. We have several Suburban Propane employees volunteer at blood drives around the country, we understand the importance of giving back and supporting our community. In 2017, the Suburban Propane sponsored blood drives collected 8,011 units, potentially saving 24,033 lives.
- 09/11 Day of Service
This is the third annual 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive in Jersey City sponsored by the American Red Cross and Suburban Propane. Our volunteers and the donors are all aware of the immense bravery and sacrifice that the Jersey City Fire and Police Department showed on 09/11/2001. This particular blood drive places an emphasis on community preparedness and we believe volunteer blood donors will help bind the community together. Having the opportunity to donate to such a great is because our way of commemorating and saying Thank You to those brave men and women who protect our communities every day. At our 09/11 Day of Service blood drive, we collected 188 units of blood, potentially saving 564 lives.
Our customers are served by local teams and our deliveries are dispatched locally. Our drivers, technicians and customer support representatives are more than just your local propane professionals, they are also neighborhood parents, friends, and volunteers you know and trust. The Suburban Propane team is proud to be an integral part of the local communities!
