Honoring Our Partnership with the American Red Cross

At Suburban Propane, our commitment is to serve our customers, employees, and the communities in the 42 states where we operate. In line with this dedication, and recognizing March is Red Cross Month, Suburban Propane proudly acknowledges our valuable partnership with the American Red Cross.

The American Red Cross is renowned as one of the most impactful non-profit organizations globally, having played crucial roles in numerous humanitarian endeavors throughout history. Our SuburbanCares initiatives underscore our commitment to philanthropy and community engagement, and Suburban Propane’s national partnership with the American Red Cross allows us to contribute by supporting and participating in numerous nationwide initiatives, such as:

• Proudly hosting the annual Police & Fire September 11^th Memorial Blood Drive in Jersey City, New Jersey, dedicated to supporting the courageous First Responders and commemorating the lives tragically lost during this eventful day. Since its inception, more than 1,550 units donated with the potential of saving over 4,700 lives.
• Collaborating to host life-saving blood and plasma donations across the country, while simultaneously supporting specific causes, such as The Missing Types campaign and Sickle Cell Disease.
• Participating in safety initiatives like Sound the Alarm, which aims to enhance fire safety through the distribution of detectors and educational programs in vulnerable communities. Suburban Propane supports the installation of over 229,000 smoke alarms in any given year.
• Joining forces with the Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) to provide support and assistance during their attendance in Operation Stand Down events to connect with homeless veterans.
• Providing essential propane and resources for on-site emergency support and disaster recovery efforts in times of crisis or in the aftermath of natural disasters.
