
Swedish Meatballs
Celebrate National Meatball Day (March 9th) by making these tasty little meatballs smothered in gravy compliments of Linda O. in our Anchorage, AK facility.

- 1 Propane Stove
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1/2 cup Minced Onion
- 3/4 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp Minced Parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt plus 1/2 tsp for sauce
- 1/8 tsp Pepper plus 1/8 tsp for sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 large Grated Carrot
- 1/4 cup Oil or Butter
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 cup White Wine Reisling
- 1 cup Water
- 3/4 cup Sour Cream
Instructions
- Mix thoroughly ground beef, minced onion, bread crumbs, mince parsley, 1½ salt, 1/8 pepper, Worcestershire sauce, egg, milk and graded carrot.
- Shape into ball size of a walnut or use a cookie scoop.
- Brown in oil or butter. 8-10 minutes.
- Remove meat from pan and cook in oven.
- Stir in white wine, water, sour cream.
- Return meat to gravy. Cook 5-10 minutes.
