"We ran totally out of gas last night and this Sunday morning I called for a emergency fill up it took awhile due to weather but your employee Anthony came in made sure furnace put heat out and even checked water heater and ignited it.He was a gentleman and you could tell that he knew what he was doing.Just wanted to let you know that you have a gem in your employment. "We ran out of propane and called to request someone bring us more LP. We found out they had scheduled to come out before we called on Monday that they were coming T5hursday. It took them a while to get here. I delivery person ended up having to go to the hospital $o they got with another driver to come out. They didn't get here until late afternoon but they did get here. He filled our tank * made sure that our furnace did light up once the thermostat sent the signal to come on. He was very polite. Like everyone they wish that the LP wasn't expensive for customers that has been a customer for almost 30 years!"

"I went with a local supplier years ago. The owner said that as long as I got my tank filled once a year, they would not charge me rental. Suburban bought them. I now have Suburban Propane. They honored the "waived rental" while the previous owner worked there. Once he left, they gave me a one year warning, then began charging me. That's OK. Do not trust their online ordering system. It does not confirm, in any way, they got the order. For years, I would follow up the online order with a call to assure they got the order. They always did and the CSR would have a tone like "don't call us, we have the order". In 2021, I left an online order in August. A month later I called, as no fill happened. They had no record of the online order. They took the order. A month later (then October), I called again and got the excuse of manpower (which is OK). They did fill within two weeks. After I paid the bill I called to complain about the price, explaining that I should not pay late October rates when I placed the order in August. Suburban Propane did give me credit for the September prices, but they would not give me credit for August prices. The CSR said because their was no record of my on line order, she could not give me credit. So, three stars. Not enough of a headache to drop them, but I would not recommend them as a supplier. If they would have credited me the August rates, I would be a 5-star advocate. Also, if you order online, take a dated screen shot. Maybe, with that, they would believe you. One more point, the CSR's now say: Never trust the online ordering. Always call."

"Bought an older home recently and just spaced that we would need to fill the propane tank. Called Suburban when we were almost out; Ashleigh there set us up with the earliest possible appointment for an inspection and fill, which happened to be a couple weeks out. A couple days later she calls; they had a cancellation and could come out early! Great service, fair pricing, budget pay options. Great experience and I'm looking forward to working with them moving forward."

"We have always gotten good service from Suburban Propane gas. We made a bad investment of some no vent gas logs that we still have. I understand your don't sell them anymore. It is confusing each year to have to decide which program we are to sign up with but I love the fact that I can pay for the gas up front and not have to pay monthly bills. Just got a fill up last week and miss the yearly calendars. I also miss small tank fill up deals that are offered by other propane dealers"

"Called to set up new service, was treated very pleasant. Date given to set tank, prices given etc... I do my very best to stay local, although not local to my area they do service our area & was more than pleased to accept our business. Seems they may have a few 1 star ratings but u have to take those as a 1 on 1 basis, as for this new customer, if they carry on as they started with me i will say we should have a good relationship. As for the "local"propane company I only leave messages so many times & move on to who deserves & wants our business. Should not take 3 weeks to set up an account, as proven suburban set up the account in 10 minutes over the phone- NOW THATS HOW BUSINESS IS DONE!"

"What began as a less than positive repair experience turned into a wonderful example of customer service. Kudos to the service manager Mike. When the initial line repair did not meet expectations, he came himself and corrected the mistakes. He spent a couple hours rerouting the line and properly venting the line as well as installing a new regulator. Thank you Mike for going above and beyond to correct the problem!!"

"I have had the best experiences with Suburban Propane since starting to use them 3 years ago. The office staff is very pleasnt and helpful and the service technician has never dissappointed. If you have ever had a bad exprience with another LP gas provider, (as I have had), then give them a try and you will be happy!"
