"I just wanted to share our experience with Suburban Propane. I called this morning and talk to a very nice lady( I can’t remember her name). She said to bring our bottle in. We did and was greeted by Austin outside. We explained our dilemma, and within minutes he had our bottle fixed and filled. What an awesome young man. Friendly efficient knowledgeable and just a wonderful person. Will definitely do business here again great experience"

"Wanted to share this experience which I think needs recognition of good service. Suburban Propane on Franklin Rd, Boise ID. Been there many times to fill up propane tanks, but never to fill up nor fix the propane tank on my RV. Austin was his name,…a fine young, respectable, and polite professional who knows what he’s doing. Replaced the fill valve and did a great job, had my RV back in less than 24hrs for our upcoming trip. When I was the boss of hundreds of Soldiers,…I wish I could of had a hundred Soldiers like him. "I went in yesterday to get a special fitting for my new propane BBQ. I worked with Austin and I couldn’t be more please with his product knowledge and excellent customer service. He got the correct fitting for me based on just a picture from my phone. He also assembled a custom size regulator for me at a great price. I highly recommend Suburban Propane and Austin for anything related to propane."

"Once you get in touch with the local office, it's great and they are SO helpful and friendly. The general customer service line is not helpful whatsoever if you have questions or issues. We had a unique situation with needing propane at a construction site and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Thanks to the stellar staff in the Boise office!"

"Great customer service. I had a stuck valve on my motorhome propane tank. I called and talked to Jose and he told me to bring it down and he’d take a look and schedule an appointment if repairs were needed. I took it down and he had the valve functioning again in just a few minutes. No charge. He made sure I didn’t have any more questions. I’m very impressed and they have all my future business for propane."

"I live in the mountains. So a lot of the heat here is propane or wood stove. I was helping out an elderly neighbor who had run out of propane, but due to the distance we live from town, I was not gonna be able to make it into suburban propane before they closed. Fortunately I saw a suburban propane truck in the neighborhood and explain my situation to him let them know that the woman had an account with them and was there anything he could do to help us. Eric, dug through his supplies found the right connection pieces and filled up her propane tank for us that night. Thank you Eric for your help. Thanks to you Julie got to stay warm that night."

"I called suburban propane to get a tank delivered to my home. I was expecting to have to wait awhile for them to come. They scheduled me for the very next week. They showed up early in the day, just like promised. The guy that came was so nice and explained everything to me, which was very good for me to know.I had made previous arrangements with Amerigas the month before. Amerigas never showed, never called, never nothing. And they were more than double the price. Go with Suburban propane!!"

Spencer, the field technician, could not have been nicer and really went the extra mile to place our tank perfectly. "This company has never ticked me off like some of the other reviewers. My experience tells me that propane contracts are inherently a PITA. But counter rudeness not a complaint here for me. Counter relations for industrial stuff (mechanical, HVAC, electrical, home/ranch, agriculture,...) is too often dicey in this area for some reason. As a good-ol boy homeowner, I've likely had hundreds of these interactions at non food/drink or chain box store counters, and I get my share of arrogance, condescension, ignorance, and general rudeness. Franklin Suburban was good 3/3 for me and the last time a boss type came out and helped me find an odd part they actually had and it cost $5 less than I expected, so, yes, I'll go back. Propane refills too high, tho. They are competing with nearby $20 tank swap kiosks."
