I called 2 companies to come out to our new-construction home to give quotes for renting a 120-gallon tank (and continuing gas delivery service) - Suburban and AmeriGas. Roger at Suburban contacted me within a day to set up an appointment (the next day) for the site survey. He gave me the quote at the end of the appointment, assured delivery by the next week, and left me with the contract to sign or not - he did not pressure me at all. He was on time, explained to me things I didn’t know about propane tanks, and was an all-around kind person. After researching online, we knew the contract was fair, and went ahead and signed. The tank was installed and filled 5 days later! Meanwhile, we received the quote from AmeriGas the day AFTER our Suburban tank was installed! Needless to say, we are very happy with Suburbans customer service so far (stay tuned!)

The customer service is EXCELLENT! She was caring and understanding. She even apologized when hearing my story of running out of gas in the middle of cooking dinner. Less then 2 hours the delivery was at my home. I have been with Suburban Propane for years. I only had 1 issue and that was not receiving my bill once on a fill up causing a little small late fee. But, that was minor. Again after speaking with a customer service representative on that issue. I never had that issue again. And I never occurred any other late fees.
