The World LPG Association recently welcomed Suburban Propane as a new member for 2020. According to Michael Stivala, Suburban Propane’s President and Chief Executive Officer, “From my first exposure to the WLPGA, I was impressed by the level of engagement from so many leaders of businesses large and small across the world and, in particular, by the depth of discussion on real challenges facing our industry. Now more than ever, the propane industry is globally connected. The WLPGA has a great track record for thought leadership and advocacy that can benefit companies and consumers alike. And, as so many governments and regulators around the globe set aggressive standards for reducing the carbon footprint, our traditional business models and the demand for our products are under fire. The WLPGA provides a great forum for sharing best practices and advancing the positive message about the clean qualities of LPG for a sustainable energy future. In fact, in the midst of the most recent global COVID-19 pandemic, the versatile, clean burning and portable nature of propane has been called upon to support essential front line efforts to save lives. During this unprecedented crisis, the WLPGA has once again demonstrated its ability to effectively communicate and support the sharing of best practices among global leaders.”
