Supporting Front Line Efforts to Save Lives

Our Newark NJ location promptly responded to an urgent request from FEMA for propane to be delivered to several locations in the New York City area in support of their efforts for COVID-19. The propane was needed to provide heat and hot water for RVs for their staff who are tirelessly working around the clock. These delivery sites included the United States Navy Ship Comfort docked in the New York Harbor and the Jacob Javits Convention Center, both located in Manhattan, as well as the New York City Emergency Operations Center located in Brooklyn, NY. Under normal circumstances bulk deliveries of propane are prohibited in the New York City area. Due to the emergency circumstances with the Coronavirus outbreak, FEMA was able to obtain special permission for our bobtail to make these deliveries in a timely manner. #SuburbanCares
