Suburban Propane To Partner with the American Red Cross to Host the Seventh Annual Jersey City Police & Fire 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive

Suburban Propane will once again partner with the American Red Cross to host the seventh annual Jersey City Police & Fire 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive. They are a proud national sponsor of the American Red Cross and has acted as this event’s hosting sponsor for years. In addition to supporting this vital blood drive, Suburban Propane encourages community involvement through their Suburban Propane Day of Service, where employees dedicate their time to local initiatives. This commitment to service exemplifies their dedication to not only providing essential energy services but also giving back to the communities they serve. Together with the American Red Cross, they continue to nurture a spirit of generosity and collaboration in the face of adversity. This vital event not only honors the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11 but also encourages community members to come together and support a crucial cause. Suburban Propane and American Red Cross are committed to making a significant impact through this blood drive, ensuring that hospitals have the necessary resources to help those in need. As the community rallies together, every donation counts and helps save lives, reinforcing the importance of solidarity and giving back. This year marks a special milestone as the event expands to become the tenth annual Jersey City event, highlighting a continued commitment to honoring the heroes of 9/11. Participants are encouraged to come out and give blood, as every donation can save lives and support the community in meaningful ways. With exciting activities and a strong show of support, this event promises to be a memorable occasion for all attendees.
“As the nation marks the 20th anniversary of the attacks on September 11th, we should hold in our hearts the memory of all those who were lost, honor the brave responders who helped that day and in the aftermath, and rekindle the spirit of service to help our neighbors in need,” said Rosie Taravella, CEO, American Red Cross New Jersey Region.
All presenting donors who are participating in the event today will receive a Red Cross first aid kit, courtesy of Suburban Propane.
