Propane Delivery & Services in Tampa, FL

I purchased a fireplace from Suburban Propane just before the Covid. Living in Florida, the use of an outdoor fireplace is few and far between. When the wall for the fireplace was done, late summer,, the fireplace had a few issues with it. Suburban came out and addressed.. We both thought it was taken care of. But first cold snap in November it was not working. When I called to get Suburban to come and address again, I could not get an appointment until January 4th, 2021. I called several times to see if there was an opening and told not. I have been a customer of Country Side Propane and Suburban for 16 years, I was very disappointed. I wrote a review (which I have since pulled). They called me next day and were out...it was actually a warranty problem. They are fixing and I have a beautiful fireplace working for the Christmas and New Years Holiday. Reviews work! And I am always grateful for a happy ending. Merry Chrisitimas.

I reached out on Friday about varying pricing we had encountered as a customer the last few fills and was introduced to Will and we discussed a budget plan as well as what pricing should be on the go forward. I just wanted to give Will a shout out and kudos for his customer service as well as Suburban of Tampa for their support as well. It was a great experience and they were able to get us a refill quickly, while also hearing some of my concerns, which were heard and dealt with. Appreciate it and this is what the customer experience should be about!

Something has changed at Suburban over the past two years...and it's for the better. We have been with them since 2011 and I have to say that there is a huge difference between now and about 2-3 years ago. I just had a very small project completed (propane hook-up for a generator), but everyone from the Operations Manager (Aaron) to the scheduler (Crystal) to the technician who did the work (Scott) and finally the person who settled my bill (Deidre) were all as nice and professional as could be. My emails and phone calls were all answered promptly and courteously. The price was very fair and Scott completed the installation after ensuring it was installed exactly where / how I wanted it. He then had me do a test run of the generator to make sure everything was correct before he left. Just as a possible response to some of the negative comments: the technicians cannot read your mind on what you want done. If you are clear with them on what you are trying to do, they will do everything they can to make it happen...within reason and within any restrictions imposed by building codes. Customer Satisfaction seems to be a real goal for them now rather than just taking the customers for granted.
