Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not improve your chance of winning. Giveaway is open to legal residents of all 50 states and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Suburban Propane (“Sponsor Party”), along with their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, agents and agencies and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children and/or spouses), regardless of where they live, or members of the same household (whether related or not) are not eligible to enter or win.  All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. 

2. Giveaway begins on January 22, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) and ends on January 2, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. (EST) (the ” Giveaway Period”). Please remember to account for any time difference considering your time zone of residence when entering the Giveaway

3. To enter: During the Giveaway Period, enter online by following the instructions on our Instagram channel, or follow the link from our Facebook and X accounts to Instagram, and then follow the instructions to enter. Each complete submission constitutes one (1) entry into the Giveaway. Entrants may not have social media accounts marked as Private, which blocks ability to validate entry and communicate with entrant.

4. Limit of one (1) Giveaway entry per person/social media handle during the Giveaway Period. Duplicate entries received from the same person/social media handle will be automatically eliminated, and Sponsor may disqualify any and all entries from such person. Entries become the property of the Sponsor.

5. Prize: One Grand Prize will be awarded, consisting of a Suburban Propane branded cutting board, Suburban Propane branded folding camping chair, and a Suburban Propane branded cooler. Total Approximate Retail Value of the Grand Prize offered is $75.00. The odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received. 

6. The Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing to take place on or about February 5, 2024, from among all eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by using contact information provided or collected at the time of entry. Sponsor Party shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within twenty-four (24) hours of the first notification attempt, such potential winner will forfeit the prize award and an alternate winner will be selected.

 7. By entering this Giveaway, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by all decisions of the Sponsor Party, which are final and legally binding in all matters related to this Giveaway. By participating in this Giveaway, each entrant hereby (a) releases and agrees to hold harmless, the Sponsor Party from any loss, damage, expense, rights, claims, demands, promises, and actions of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in this Giveaway or the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize, and, (b) agrees not to pursue any right, claim or action against the Sponsor Party in connection with participation in this Giveaway. Winner grants to Sponsor Party the right to use his or her name, picture, voice, likeness, and/or biographical information in any media now known or hereafter devised for advertising and publicity purposes throughout the world, in perpetuity, without additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). It is the winner’s responsibility to comply with all relevant tax regulations.

8. Sponsor Party is not responsible for lost, illegible, late, misdirected, incomplete, or non-delivered entries; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, telephone, or other connections, availability, or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or filtered, jumbled, garbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software or telephone malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Sponsor Party is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information; and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, or communications line failures. Sponsor Party reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or operation of Giveaway. Sponsor Party is not responsible for injury or damage to participants’ or any other person’s computer, mobile telephone, or other device, related to or resulting from participating in this Giveaway.

9. If, for any reason, Giveaway, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor Party, is not capable of running as planned by reason of any causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Giveaway, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Giveaway, and determine winners from entries appropriately received prior to action taken, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. In the event of dispute concerning the identity of an Entrant, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the email account associated with the Entry.
