PARTNERING WITH THE AMERICAN RED CROSS FOR JACQUELINE ROGERS
Jacqueline Rogers of Billerica, MA, was born with a congenital heart disorder. At the age of eight, Jacqueline needed heart surgery, however, her surgery was postponed due to a shortage of type O negative blood. Jacqueline and her parents, Alan and Valerie, decided to help raise awareness about the importance of donating blood so other patients don’t have to face a postponed surgery.
In partnership with the American Red Cross, Suburban Propane sponsored a weekend in NYC for Jacqueline and her parents. This included a session with the Glam Squad, the opportunity to dance at the Alvin Ailey dance studio, personal session with a pro golfer at a driving range on Chelsea Piers with Mike Stivala and attend a NY Mets baseball game. She was presented with Suburban Propane swag from Mike Stivala and his wife Kelly. The weekend was filled with joy and unforgettable memories, allowing Jacqueline to experience the vibrant energy of the city. As they cherished their special moments, the family felt grateful for the incredible opportunities provided. Cherishing our partnership with Red Cross, Suburban Propane looks forward to creating even more meaningful experiences for families in need.
