The Lion Habitat Ranch in Henderson, NV provides a home to several lions and a giraffe. Suburban Propane supplies the propane that heats the water for the lion baths as well as heats the Giraffe house. Since 1989 the Lion Habitat Ranch has been providing a sanctuary for African lions threatened and endangered by habitat loss. This not-for-profit organization not only provides education about these lions in their local community, but also supports the efforts of Conservation International in Kenya.
