Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Statement:
At Suburban Propane, the safety and security of our employees, customers and local communities is our utmost priority.
We are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on the communities we serve, and are following guidance from the CDC and other local health organizations to do our part to help mitigate the spread. Our Business Continuity Plans are well-developed, and we continue to adapt those plans to the unprecedented circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 virus. We will deploy those plans as appropriate to help ensure uninterrupted service to our customers and local communities.
Our Team
We are taking the necessary precautions to protect our employees and, in turn, our valued customers. These precautions include specific instructions to our employees on the importance of washing their hands, and other good health habits, as well as staying home if they feel sick. Per CDC recommendations, we are also asking employees who have traveled, or who have a family member returning, from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk to self-quarantine for 14 days. Additionally, in an effort to protect our personnel that may need to access customer homes, based on guidance from local health authorities, we may make additional inquiries prior to entering the home.
Our Commitment
We are continuously evaluating ongoing developments, monitoring any impacts to the customers and communities we serve and will continue to take appropriate actions to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for our employees. We remain committed to providing the superior service that our customers have come to expect from us, despite a modified method of interaction as a result of adhering to the advice of the CDC to practice “social distancing”. While standard propane deliveries will continue as usual, we are limiting certain activities at our customer service center locations. In order to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and communities, our locations will be temporarily closed for walk-in traffic; including dock sales. To identify a propane cylinder tank refill location, please call 800-PROPANE and we will direct you to the closest refill location. For the safety of our customers and employees and consistent with our social distancing practices, effective immediately, we are temporarily suspending the need to capture signatures for deliveries.
If you need to make a payment, credit card transactions are preferred and can be conveniently made through the online portal. If you don’t have an online account, you can easily create one here. If you have any questions please call 1-800-PROPANE, visit us at suburbanpropane.com or access your online account here. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Thank you for your continued trust in Suburban Propane.
