Local Suburban Propane Office in Eugene, OR

Good, old-fashioned customer service is practiced at this branch of Suburban Propane. Its easy to speak to someone on the phone (not a robot!) and the person I spoke with (Shelby) was incredibly professional and super helpful. She held my hand through the technology bit of setting up auto pay, she helped me determine the best propane service program for my needs, she even reached out to me when I failed to return some important info that would allow me to get their auto-fill service-- she didn't want me to run out of gas in a cold-snap, so she went the extra mile to help me get that set up! Nowadays, customer service is provided by robots and automated systems-- which I dislike greatly. But this company must have some solid old school values-- at least their employees convey that! The kid that came out to install was friendly and helpful. The guy who came to refill was also. All around STELLAR experience with this company. And you know how rare that is these days.I really appreciate this branch of SP.

I started communicating with Suburban Propane in January 2020. I had spoken with other propane suppliers but Carita stood out as she was very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. She answered my questions, offered advice and responded quickly to my requests. During the following months I spoke with Carita, Shelby and others. They were all very friendly, knowledgeable and VERY willing to help. From that first call, over the next 8-9 months EVERY experience I have had with Suburban Propane exceeded my expectations. Everyone I spoke with there made me feel like I was their most important customer, even before I became one. Richard visited my home site and helped me understand my options and answered my many questions. I felt we was more concerned what was best for me instead of what was best for his company. He was prompt and focused on doing the right thing the right way. Things got better once I became a customer! Suburban Propane over delivered on all the promises they made to me. They exceeded my expectations and I cannot understand why anyone would pick any other service. The only issue is I have is I wish I could give them 12 stars instead of just 5. We just switched from Amerigas to Suburban. Suburban made the transfer quite easy. Garry came out and installed our new tank, and went above and beyond in his service. He was professional, worked quickly, and thoroughly checked everything before leaving, including our new stove. The staff I have dealt with by phone, have also been very helpful and considerate.
