Blue Cheese Burger with Onion Relish

Equipment

  • 1 Propane Grill

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 large Red onions thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp Smokey paprika
  • 2 tsp Whole grain mustard
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Blue cheese Stilton
  • 4 frozen Beef burgers
  • 4 rolls Hamburger

Instructions
 

Onion Relish

  • Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick frying pan and add the onions and paprika. Cook for 15 minutes until tender.
  • Stir in the mustard, brown sugar and balsamic, then turn the heat up.
  • Add 1/2 cup water and cook for another 15 minutes until reduced and sticky.

Burger

  • Cook the burgers on a medium hot propane grill until cooked through.
  • Serve on the rolls with a spoonful of the sticky onions and spoonful of the blue cheese on top.
  • Add other optional toppings like bacon, lettuce, tomato, etc.
