Customer Service Centers Reopening to the Public
At Suburban Propane the safety and security of our employees, customers and local communities is our utmost priority. We are continuously evaluating ongoing developments, closely monitoring any impacts to our customers and local communities and taking appropriate actions to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for our employees. As our valued customer, we are committed to providing the superior level of service that you have come to expect from us.
The important topics below cover the key points for our phased approach to reopening our locations across the country. These are based on procedural guidelines from the CDC.gov and we will modify our operations as necessary.
Our Phased Approach to Reopening
Most of our Customer Service Center locations will go back to their regular hours of operation for cylinder refills, dock sales and walk-in customer traffic. Each location will establish their hours of operation based on guidelines provided by local authorities, and to allow for additional time for enhanced sanitizing of our premises. Protocols have been established at each location to ensure the safety of our customers and our employees. We recommend calling 1-800-PROPANE (1-800-776-7263) prior to visiting your location.
Cleaning & Disinfecting Practices
Our Customer Service Centers will have numerous cleaning and sanitization procedures to support ongoing health and safety precautionary measures in accordance with CDC guidelines.
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
To ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers, we will continue to adhere to the CDC guidelines in the use of wearing masks and gloves for our customer-facing employees, drivers and technicians.
Our employees will be social distancing by maintaining at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) during customer interaction as per the CDC. Capacity limitations may also exist at our locations.
